Children's Ministry: CotA Kids

It is our goal to make Jesus Christ known to our children.

• We teach the story of salvation through systematic Bible study.
• We encourage memorization of key Bible passages.
• We teach Biblical doctrine using Catechism, the church's historic tool for confession of faith.
• We explain the liturgy seasonally in age appropriate ways to foster participation in weekly worship.
• We provide special events to promote community.
• We offer mission project opportunities so children can learn by serving others.
• We pray that the Holy Spirit will create a desire in each child to love and obey God.

JOIN US THIS LENTEN SEASON!

CHILDREN'S CHURCH : During the 9a service, children ages 4 years through 2nd grade may exit the worship service during the "Gospel Anthem" for an age appropriate Bible story, based on one of the day's lessons. Children return to the full worship service during the "Peace."                                                                                                           

SUNDAY SCHOOL: Children 4 years through 5th grade meet in the Red Room for SS Assembly at 10:30a. Assembly includes music, announcements, prayer and offering time. Children then split up into age groups for Bible study.

SEASONAL EVENTS

12 MARCH:  Friday Night Progressive Dinner for 3rd - 5th graders. RSVP required. Contact Melanie.

3 APRIL:  Saturday Morning Family Egg Hunt. 10a - noon. Place TBD. Contact Melanie.
