What we're doing on Sunday mornings

Sunday mornings at Church of the Apostles are centered around our Eucharistic service, which uses the liturgy of the Book of Common Prayer (1979) as well as a few other sources. If you would like to peruse a sample bulletin, please click on the following link:
Order of Service

Musically, Church of the Apostles seeks to reflect the diversity of church backgrounds that are represented in the congregation by incorporating a range of styles. Songs are selected based on the richness of their theology, the aesthetic of their music and poetry, and a prevailing emphasis on God. Song selection also reflects the scripture readings of the given Sunday as well as the themes and the posture of the liturgical season.

Between our two morning services, we have several Christian Education offerings available at 10.15a based on various topics related to our lives as christians. Classes are offered for all ages: K-2nd, 3rd-5th, Jr. High girls, Jr. High guys, High School, adults and of course, nursery. Children ages 4 years through 2nd grade enjoy Children's Worship during the sermon, exiting the main service at the gospel reading and returning before communion.

Before and after service there is a time of fellowship and refreshment in the Parish Hall. Parking is available not only in the Apostles' building lot, but also the surrounding buildings' parking areas as well as streetside parking. For a map of all the surrounding parking options, click here.
