Prayer is a very important part of life at Apostles. Our desire to commune with God goes beyond our own walk with the Lord. We as a ministry are called to walk along with our brothers and sisters through prayer and healing. Our ministry team meets for prayer and training twice monthly. Our pastoral oversight is provided by Fr. Hule Goddard.
Prayer Ministries at Church of the Apostles
After every worship service, prayer teams are available to pray for individuals during communion. The prayer team prays by the power of the Hoy Spirit for any person who has needs, concerns, or desires to be touch by the Lord’s presence. Our ministry teams are trained in prayer and listening to the Lord.
If you desire prayer during the worship service, simply make your way to the left of the altar after you receive communion. Someone will be there to greet you.
The healing prayer ministry is for those individuals who need a deeper touch of the Holy Spirit for life issues relating to all needs such as physical healing, grief, addictions, emotional wounds, habitual destructive life patterns, or other spiritual needs. This is an extension of pastoral care where the goal is to help individuals achieve wholeness in all aspects of their lives. Prayer ministers are available by appointment for those who are seeking freedom in these areas of their lives. All prayer ministers serving in this capacity are extensively trained and are gifted in walking along side those in need.
This prayer team intercedes for individuals with any need through an email prayer list as well as gathering together with other intercessors to pray on behalf of the parish, the community, our nation and the world. The focus of the prayer team is that “His kingdom come, His will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”
If you would like for your prayer to be sent to the intercessory team, you may submit you request here.
