Welcome to the parish journal of Church of the Apostles. We hope with this publication, we will engage a conversation between members of our church and the greater culture. The Epistle celebrates parish life and community, as well as offering content that strives to give readers new perspectives on liturgy, art, music, and literature. The Epistle is published seasonally, based on the church calendar, with much of the content reflecting seasonal moods and topics.
In an effort to encourage freedom of thought and expression, Church of the Apostles offers oversight, but not endorsement, of journal content, citing the oft-quoted dictum, In necessariis unitas, in dubiis libertas, in omnibus caritas: “In necessary things unity, in doubtful things liberty, in all things charity.”
