(the Venerable) Jan Kaneft

A former English teacher, Jan was led to a second vocation, called to minister the healing truth of the gospel to others. She offered her gifts of Bible teaching, spiritual guidance, and prayer ministry from the earliest days of our church plant, a fruitful service that led to her ordination as a deacon in 2012. Although she is now retired from our clergy staff, she can still be spotted quietly serving as needs arise. Jan is originally from Sumter and is married to Bill, whom she met at USC. They have two grown sons and daughters-in-law, and seven grandchildren.
